Come and learn how to incorporate recycling and sustainable design principles into your own building projects.
Butterflies
Visit our butterfly flight house, learn about and observe each life stage of Belize's native butterfly species.
Flora and Fauna
Come spot and learn about Belize's native plant and animal species. Birding tours can be arranged with local experts.
Forage and Cook
Tour around our 30 acre site, pick local ingredients and then jump into the kitchen to learn how to turn it into something scrumptious.
In February of 2020 I was lucky enough to have taken a “Recycling and Building” Tour at the Chaos Oasis. In touring the buildings I was able to see different stages of the building process from foundation level through to the completed product. I was blown away by the way in which these buildings which use rubbish as a resource were able to collect valuable resources from the local environment. Both Richard and Alisa were extremely knowledgeable and detailed the entire process from start to finish and I would highly recommend a visit to their Earthship.
